Siddu threatens to expose CM’s six more scams

Mysore, March 19: With allegations levelled at chief minister’s son, who heads Prenana Trust, of collecting contributions of Rs 27 crore from various companies yet to subside, Leader of Opposition in Assembly Siddaramaiah accused the CM of being involved in six more scams, allegedly in cahoots with some of his ministers.

The maverick Congress leader said that the Opposition will bring to light all the scams, including the Rs 2,000 crore scam in the BBMP, with documents to substantiate their claims.

He told reporters here on Friday that the BJP MLAs and its president KS Eshwarappa are convinced about the Prerana scam raised by the Opposition. Eshwarappa has taken the lead in the ouster of the CM, he said. Clarifying that the Congress is not interested in the internal problems of the BJP, he said its MLAs have not contacted the Congress.

Bypolls: Congress to go alone

Siddaramaiah said that the Congress will field its candidate in the by elections to three constituencies. He said that KPCC president G Parameshwar will hold talks with the high command and finalise the names. He asserted that he will not interfere in the selection of candidates, while adding that he will only give his opinion to the high command.
