A delegation of Hyderabadi NRIs residing in Saudi Arabia called on Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Kan and news editor Siasat Mr. Amer Ali Khan and discussed the problems confronted by minorities in Telangana. The delegation comprising of President Association ‘Ham Hindustani’ Mohammed Qaiser, Mr. Mirza Azmatullah Baig joint secretary, Mr. Mohammed Jameel (Jeddah), Mr. Saleem Farooqui (Riyadh), Mr. Mohammed Nayeemuddin met the editor and hailed Siasat’s remarkable educational & financial services for the community.
Declaring Siasat’s 12% Muslim reservation campaign as valuable, they said that the Hyderabadi NRIs residing in the gulf are also in support of the campaign. They lauded the efforts of campaign frontrunner Mr. Amer Ali Khan and extended best wishes for the campaign.
Mohammed Qaiser termed the ‘one dish, one sweet’ movement initiated by Siasat as the need of the hour. Activities like Du Ba Du programme, financial assistance through Siasat Millat Fund were also hailed.
