Siasat’s Du-ba-Du Program held on September 9: Many matrimonial profiles registered

Hyderabad: Matrimonial alliances of Muslim boys and girls have become very serious these days. Keeping in view such a situation, Siasat Urdu Daily organized 85th Du-ba-Du Matrimonial Alliance Program on Sunday, 9th September at Royal Regency Garden, Asif Nagar.

The popularity of this program is such that it has made a mark not only in the State but also in other countries. Justice Kolse Patil, former Judge of Bombay High Court and a prominent leader of Lok Shasan Movement attended the function and enquired about the details. He congratulated Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily for their untiring efforts in organizing this program. He said that following the footsteps of Siasat, a similar program was organized in Maharashtra State wherein parents were advised not to promote any efforts of offering dowry. He commented that a person who loves money cannot be affectionate to his family members. He applauded the Ganga-Jamuna Civilization of Hyderabad and said that this example of communal harmony is quoted everywhere in the world.

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan presided over the function. He gave the details of the program to Mr. Patel. Mr. Sayeed bin Mohammed, Proprietor of Royal Regency Garden, Mr. Syed Lateefuddin, Mr. Vikhar Khan, Mr. Tajuddin and others also attended the function.

Mr. Ilyas Basha while giving the details of the program applauded the efforts of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan. Mr. Khalid Mohiuddin Asad coordinated the program. The program was live on Facebook and YouTube.

In Engineering section, Mr. Meer Anwaruddin, Mr. Zahed Farooqui and Ms. Shehnaz guided the parents whereas, in Medicine section, Dr. Durdana and Ms. Ameena, in PG section, Mr. Syed Nazimuddin, Taskeen and Iqra, in graduates section, Mr. Nazim Ali, Ms. Mohammedi, Ms. Mehrooz and Ms. Shabana guided the parents.

The parents and guardians were given pamphlets of the last sermon of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) along with its English and Telugu translations.

In all, 231 girls and 134 boys got themselves registered.

Hafiz Syed Mohammed Abdul Hameed, former Imam of Aliya Masjid, Gunfoundry recited Quranic verses. Dr. Ayub Haideri recited Naath-e-Shareef. Mr. Ilyas Basha conducted the program which ended at 3 p.m.
