Siasat’s campaign for Muslim reservations hailed – All Party Delegation of Nizamabad felicitate Amer Ali Khan

Hyderabad: An All Party Delegation from Nizamabad met Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and applauded his efforts for launching a massive campaign mobilizing support for reservation of Muslims. The delegation included the leaders of Senior Citizens’ Welfare Society, Mr. M.A. Shukoor, Mr. Anwar Khan, President of Welfare Party of India, Mr. M.A. Muqueet, President of Indian Union Muslim League, Mr. M.A. Mannan, District President of Minorities Cell of TRS, Mr. M.A. Mateen of BC Sangam and others.

They recalled that Mr. Amer Ali Khan had mustered support through his campaign for awakening awareness among the Muslims for reservations. As a consequence of it, TRS Govt. was forced to constitute Sudhir Commission of Inquiry which submitted a comprehensive report taking into consideration the economic and educational backwardness of the Muslims. After receiving Sudhir Commission’s report, Govt. constituted BCs Commission. They also said that the representations made by Siasat and the efforts for creating awareness among the Muslims for providing reservations to Muslims is worth praising.
