Arabic has been the most popular language of every time. Even today, it is the most popular language. Learning Arabic yields not only worldly benefits, but it also earns virtue. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat expressed these thoughts while releasing the DVD especially prepared to teach Arabic to the beginners.
Present on this occasion were Prof. Moin Ansari and Ms. Shahida Ansari. Dr. Syed Shujauddin Quadri Aziz, Lecturer in Arabic, Osmania University has prepared these DVD’s.
Continuing his speech, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that there is an enormous virtue in reciting the Quran. After learning Arabic language, if one reads the Quran, he will get more virtues.
He said that keeping in view the needs of Muslim Ummah, Siasat has prepared these DVDs to facilitate the beginners to learn Arabic. There is a greater need to learn Arabic these days because in every house, we find a member working in Saudi Arabia or in Gulf countries. By learning Arabic, one gets jobs in the Middle East.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan further told that we are late in acquiring Arabic and Persian. Still there is time, we can learn these languages even now. Language is a means of communication. It plays an important role in establishing contacts with people. He appealed to the Urdu speakers to make efforts to keep Urdu language alive. We should love Urdu as we love our mother. He desired that the DVD’s prepared by Siasat should decorate the shelves of every Muslim house and everyone should take interest in learning Arabic.
Prof. Moin Ansari told that the welfare activities undertaken by Siasat are being applauded not only in India but also in foreign countries as well. He said that if one does not know Arabic, it will be difficult for him to communicate with people while working in Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Middle East. He said that Arabic is a language which is spoken in every part of the world. He said that the DVD prepared by Siasat is important for learning Arabic. It will facilitate in learning spoken language.
Ms. Shaheda Ansari told that Arabic is the language of grave and Heaven. It was the language spoken by our Prophet (PBUH). Dr. Syed Shujauddin Quadri explained various stages of preparation of DVD.
