Siasat’s appeal for Bihar flood victims: Hindus, Muslims donate garments and food grains

Hyderabad: There is no religion of poverty, illness, natural calamities and tears of the victims. The soil of Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana have the attributes to help any victim. Its live example is that responding to the appeal made by Siasat Urdu Daily, many Hindu and Muslim businessmen and other philanthropists donated garments and food grains in large quantities.

It may be mentioned that Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily had appealed to the philanthropists to donate generously for the flood victims of Bihar. One of the donors, who requested Mr. Zahid Ali Khan not to reveal his name, came forward to help the victims. He said that humanity is the largest religion. If we do not help our compatriots, there won’t be any humanity.

According to Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, the relief van will start for Seemanchal (Bihar) on 26th September. It may be noted that Siasat Millat Fund and Faiz-e-Aam Trust had already sent Rs. 5 lakh. An attempt is being made to start an Islamic school, a professional training center for ladies and a training camp for the recruitment of youths in police force.
