Congress Rajya Sabha MP M A Khan congratulated Siasat editor on the publication of weekly English supplement by Siasat and advised Muslims to make it a must have for their homes. Talking to Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan on phone he conveyed heartfelt congratulations and admired the weekly English supplement. He further told that issues like destruction of Waqf properties, Makkah Masjid blast, Alair encounter, 12% Muslim reservations were taken to the Houses, ruling parties, government missionary and political circles by the Siasat. He claimed that Siasat Daily was not just a newspaper but the representative of all Muslims. It provided complete guidance to Muslims for government schemes, created awareness among students regarding education and employment and played significant role in dissemination of news of Muslim world to city and districts besides national and international level.
Mr. Khan stated that after making a keen observation of the situation and considering the importance of English, Siasat editor launched English weekly which was the need of the hour. He hoped that Siasat would emerge as the voice of Muslims and would soon convert into English Daily. He appealed Muslims to subscribe Siasat English Weekly as it could be read by old and young alike. Unlike other English Dailies which have indecent photos, for that reason readers feel embarrassed to read them before their elders and children, Siasat will be free of such indecent photos.
