Creating awareness among masses about government schemes is inevitable to make the welfare schemes of government a success and Siasat Daily is always ready to do that. In the past, Siasat had also launched awareness campaign for various schemes introduced by Telangana government like Shaadi Mubarak, interest free loan, Overseas Scholarship scheme for students, which yielded positive results.
Now Siasat Daily has undertaken the task of creating awareness regarding Minority Residential Schools. As part of this endeavour, a meeting of various NGOs was held along with Telangana Minority Residential Institutions Society (TMRIS) Project Manager Mr. Abdul Lateef and Aijaz Ahmed. The meeting held under the chairmanship of Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan decided to begin awareness campaign from Musheerabad Assembly constituency.
Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan said this is the best way to eliminate educational backwardness of Muslims. He said government, whatever party it belongs to, should give top priority to Muslim interest and Siasat Daily will provide every possible support to the concerned department to make the Residential Schools Scheme a success, which has been introduced to eliminate educational backwardness of Muslims in Telangana. He further maintained that it is the responsibility of NGOs, political parties and welfare institutions to come forward to ensure that the target set by the government is met. The Telangana government is providing free boarding, food, uniform, syllabus books to promote education among Muslims which is praise worthy. He urged to create awareness in Muslim predominant areas so that deserving families could benefit from the scheme.
Project Manger TRMIS Aijaz Ahmed said government has set the target of 71 schools in the first phase, in which admission is in progress for 5th to 7th class. There are separate campuses for boys and girls. He hoped that Siasat Daily will be the best platform to create awareness regarding the said scheme of Telangana government.
