Siasat think tank urges Muslims to take part in Intensive Household Survey

The whole Telangana especially Muslims of Hyderabad must participate in the Intensive Household Survey to be conducted on August 19 by Telangana government because this is not an ordinary survey but is a means to assess the social and economic status of beneficiaries of government schemes. These views were expressed by Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan while addressing a meeting held to create awareness among people at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall. He further said that the survey would be beneficial for Muslims in the future hence Siasat has launched special campaign to create awareness regarding Intensive Household Survey.

Mr. Hamed Muhammad Khan president Moment for Peace and Justice, Mujahed Hashmi of Awami Majlis-e-Amal, Mr. Afnan Quadri Mehr Organisation and Akhtar Siddiqui social activist were also present.

In the beginning special correspondent threw light on the benefits of Intensive Household Survey and allayed the apprehensions. Mr. Zahed Ali Khan urged the people not to hesitate enrolling Urdu as their mother tongue.

Mr. Hamed Muhammad Khan said that Muslims must participate in the survey to make their number and importance felt.
