Hyderabad: Relief work by Siasat Daily and Faiz-e-Aam Trust among the rain affected areas of Hyderabad continued on Tuesday also. Siasat’s services were extended to Muslim predominant areas, Sulaiman Nagar, Safdar Nagar Phase I and II, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Phase I and II, Yousuf Nagar, Pipeline Basti and Padmavati Nagar, adjacent to Kukatpally and Jubilee Hills assembly constituencies. Zinda Tilismath also took part in the philanthropic cause and distributed Zinda Tilismath medicine among the rain affected people.
On the direction of Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, Siasat General Manager Mr. Mir Shujat Ali took stock of the relief measures and distributed rice among the flood victims. Rice packets of 5 kg each were distributed among 600 families. Relief teams of Siasat, supervised by news editor Siasat Mr. Amer Ali Khan, are keeping vigilance in those areas round the clock. Milk powder and biscuits were also distributed for children.
