Hyderabad: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Iftekhar Husain, Secretary, Faiz-e-Aam Trust and Mr. Rizwan Haider, Trustee, Faiz-e-Aam Trust distributed garments to poor women, men and children and also to brides and bridegrooms. In all, 1000 families were benefited. The distribution function took place in Amlapura, Karwan.
It may be mentioned that for the past two years, Millat Fund of Siasat, Faize-e-Aam Trust and Helping Hand have been distributing garments in various localities of the city.
Mr. Iftekhar Husain told that under the patronage of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, these welfare activities of distribution of garments have been continuing for the past two years.
Such of the boys and girls who got married but unable to buy garments are covered under this scheme. Earlier, garments were distributed in Mauala Ali area which is yielding positive results.
Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al – Hajri, President, Deccan Wakf Protection Society welcomed the guests and highlighted this activity. Present on this occasion were Mr. Maqbool bin Abdullah Al-Hajri, Mr. Mohammed Ismail Shareef, Mr. Mohammed Nazim, Mr. Shaik Imran and others.
