Siasat daily has always raised its voice for the development and prosperity of Muslim community. It has put all its efforts to guide the community, with the help of its readers, along with fulfilling its journalistic responsibilities. It has boldly and fearlessly brought the facts to the knowledge of government and public.
Keeping in view the government’s silence over 12 percent Muslim reservation, Siasat had decided to begin a formal movement. Not only the non-government organisations joined the movement but the movement is being backed by political parties also.
If implementation reservation is delayed no more jobs will remain to be filled. Hence Siasat has decided to intensify the movement and link it with literary circles. In this connection it has been decided to organise a mushaira entitled ‘Muslim reservation’. Date and venue of mushaira will be announced shortly. Poets who want to present their poetry on the above mentioned topic must send their poetry before May 20 at Siasat office. Poets of the selected poetry will be given a chance to recite their poetry in the mushaira.
