Siasat, Faiz-e-Aam trust donate van for cancer patients of Kashmir

Hyderabadi Muslims and Siasat mobilize to help their suffering brothers whenever life and property of the Muslims are in danger either due to natural calamity or due to communal riots. Few months ago massive flood hit Kashmir which turned riches to rag within no time. Dry fruit trade and carpet industry was badly affected.

In that situation Siasat provided financial assistant to flood victims through Siasat relief fund. It reconstructed houses which were totally or partially damaged by the flood. Craft centre was established for women and girls while an ambulance was donated for cancer patients.

Faiz-e-Aam Trust supported Siasat wholeheartedly in this virtuous act. Soon after the flood, milk packets and medicines were dispatched for children through Siasat Relief Fund for which Rs. 204406 were spend, while Rs. 1735000 were spent for construction and repair of 5 houses.

Siasat Millat Fund and Faiz-e-Aam Trust provided a van costing Rs. 360000 to GK Welfare Trust for shifting of cancer patients to the hospitals; it has been proved quite helpful for shifting the patients.

According to Secretary Faiz-e-Aam Trust Mr. Iftekhar Husain, his trust worked shoulder to shoulder with Siasat, for establishing schools in flood affected areas, providing study material to children, providing training for self employment courses to women and also computer and other skill based training. So far Rs. 2737406 were spend for construction of houses, establishing craft centre for women, providing van, milk packets and medicines for cancer patients in Kashmir.
