Siasat determines success of Muslims in every field: Zaheeruddin Ali Khan

(Siasat News): Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor Siasat Daily Hyderabad, emphasized on the need of struggle for the success of Muslims in every field and said that if one wishes the bright future of Muslims in India, one has to get himself/herself with education. He was addressing a seminar on ‘The Role of Media in Making Muslims Empowered’ at Jamia Millia Islamia in News Delhi that was conducted by the department of education.

He further said that Siasat has started a social mission for the welfare of the Muslims. The Siasat daily is not only a newspaper but also a movement.

He said that after the accession of Hyderabad post-independence, Muslims were made economically weak. They were deprived of employment; their lands were snatched and encroached. All efforts were done to deprive Muslims from gaining political strength but here; Siasat led the Muslims from the front and showed a new path to them.

Siasat got success in the cause of making Muslims self-reliant and empowered. The training was provided to Muslim aspirants of getting a job in police department. Siasat further prepared the youths for the entrance tests of Unani medicine, Medical and Engineering.

They were provided the guidance in such a manner where their admissions were assured. Apart from this, short-terms courses classes were also conducted. Girls were provided training in Mehndi, embroidery, cooking and in painting. Question banks were prepared and distributed among the SSC students enabling them to pass the examination with distinction.

Due to the provision of teacher’s training, 11000 teachers got the job. Guidance is also provided for the online registration of scholarships where more than 4,00,000 students got benefited.

As far as the solution of the problems of the marriages of Muslim girls and boys, Siasat has been conducting DU-BADU programmes to get an on the spot alliance for the interested parties. The students of other states such as Bihar, U.P. and Gujarat were also provided guidance in the field of education.

Through Siasat’s Millat Fund, financial help was provided to the students who were interested in getting admissions in engineering and Medical colleges being run by Muslim managements. The women suffering from cancer and widows were also provided financial aid. He became emotional when he said that relief camps were opened for the victims of Gujarat and Assam communal riots.

Houses were constructed for the Muslims in Gujarat. In the concluding part of his address, Mr. Khan advised Muslim youths no to lose hope and courage and always have blind faith in Allah’s blessings. If they are strong enough in their own, no one can do any harm to them.
