An incident of murder of a Muslim man took place under Gopalapuram PS limits. Police Gopalapuram arrested the culprits and remanded them into judicial custody. When no one claimed the body, Gopalapuram police approached Mr. Amer Ali Khan and requested to arrange funeral rites. Similarly Maredpally and Secunderabad police requested burial of two burqa clad Muslim women. Besides that Mr. Amer Ali Khan also received requests from several other police stations.
Thus a total of 17 bodies were collected from Osmania and Gandhi Hospitals and burial was performed at Kukatpally graveyard. Maulana Nisar Misbahi led funeral prayer. Burial of 3500 unclaimed Muslim bodies have been arranged by Siasat so far.
