Hyderabad: A Sub-Inspector, who was posted on security duty along with other officials for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tour in Hyderabad, committed suicide. Sridhar killed himself by firing his service revolver in Hyderabad on Saturday morning. The incident occurred under Rajendranagar police station limits.
30-year-old, Sridhar worked as Penchikalpet SI in Asifabad district. He had arrived in the city 3 days ago for bandobast. He took the extreme step on the 23rd floor of an apartment near, PV Express Highway Flyover near Upparpalli cross roads.
Sources reveal that Sudhir was worried due to domestic problems and failed in love. As per the sources, for the last time Sridhar had called his lover named Bhagya Laxmi on phone.
His native place is said to be Warangal. While the police suspect love affair to be the reason behind his suicide, his colleagues informed that Sridhar appeared distressed during breakfast on Saturday morning. Investigations are underway.
