Dehra Dun, April 19: A police man was killed and another seriously injured when a bullock cart in which they were travelling overturned at Ranipur area of Haridwar district, police today said.
The incident occurred yesterday when police sub-inspector Sampoornanad Gairola and constable Rajiv Kumar were returning to Ranipur police station on the cart, they said, adding Kumar died on the spot.
Gairola has been admitted to a nearby hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.
