Shweta Tiwari wins Bigg Boss4

Mumbai, January 08: After 14 weeks of staying within closed boundaries, without any connection with the outside world, and surviving politics, cat fights and eliminations, television actress Shweta Tiwari has emerged as Big Boss Season 4 winner.

Tiwari became the first woman to win the reality show with a prize money of Rs 1 crore announced at a grand finale in Lonavala on Saturday night. The Great Khali and actor Ashmit Patel are first and second runners up respectively.

In the star studded finale host and actor Salman Khan danced on Humka Peeni Hai from the hit movie Dabangg while Pakistani actress Veena Malik danced to Sheila Ki Jawaani.

Actors Shweta Tiwari, Ashmit Patel, Dolly Bindra and The Great Khali were the four finalists competing for the winner’s trophy.

During her stay in the house, Shweta remained active in the household chores, but still courted trouble for her over-concerned ways due to which many participants felt she is very diplomatic.

It’s the news that all have been waiting for. After fights and quarrels, and some good and bad moments, controversies and melodrama, Bigg Boss Season 4 comes to a grand end. With only four contestants remaining in the house Ashmit Patel, Shweta Tiwari, Dolly Bindra and the great Khali, just who was going to be the coveted winner of Bigg Boss, was the big question.

Well, Shweta Tiwari seems to have won the hearts of the public. Her straightforward nature worked well for her. So how will Shweta celebrate? It looks like a party is surely on the cards. And all the contestants who participated in this season’s Bigg Boss will be invited.

This is the first time a female contestant has won Bigg Boss.

“I’m overwhelmed,” said Shweta, unable to speak much. But she’s the one who is going to laugh all the way to the bank as a one crore booty awaits her.
