Shutdown in J&K over blasphemous Film

Business establishments and educational institutions remained closed on Tuesday, on account of the statewide shutdown called by various religious organizations in protest of the anti-Islam film that has sparked violent protests worldwide.
The bandh was supported by Syed Ali Geelani, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Muhammad Nayeem Khan. The call was given by Ahle Sunnat Jamaat to protest against the blasphemous movie made by America.

Elaborate police arrangements were made at all the sensitive places to prevent any untoward incident.
