Shunglu panel probe: Dikshit promises full cooperation

New Delhi, April 14: Under attack following the Shunglu Committee report, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today promised to extend “full cooperation” to the Home Ministry if it seeks any reply from her government on the findings of the CWG probe panel.

“We have not received any communication from the Home Ministry so far. We will extend our full cooperation if they seek our response (on the Shunglu committee report),” Dikshit said when asked whether government has received any communication from Home Ministry.

Sources said all the city government officials whose names figure in the Shunglu Committee report have been told to submit their response in writing to the government.

Besides holding various agencies responsible for “irregularities”, the probe panel has also found procedural violations by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Tejinder Khanna and Dikshit for alleged inadequacies in executing certain CWG projects.
