Bangalore, May 25: The State Human Rights Commission has issued notice to B J Puttaswamy, Political Secretary to Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, directing him to file his reply on a complaint filed by a woman claiming to be his wife.
The commission has also issued notice to Chief Secretary to the Karnataka government to send response of the Government with regard to the complaint, SHRC sources said.
Vijayalakshmi, the complainant, has alleged that Puttaswamy married her without disclosing his first marriage with Shantha and had lived with her in Bangalore and Mysore.
However, she had to leave for Tiptur to take care of her ailing parents.
In her complaint, she alleged that after the demise of her parents, Puttaswamy did not take care of her and had deserted her for last 10 years, SHRC sources said.
