New Delhi: The bi-annual fashion fiesta — Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festival collection — which saw a slew of Bollywood stars strutting down the ramp for various designers came to an end on Sunday.
Kareena Kapoor, who brought down the curtains at the fashion show, looked every bit gorgeous in a stunning black ensemble as she turned the muse for designer Gauri and Nainika.
Kareena set the runway on fire in a classic black Duchess satin gown with a silk veil tulle drape. She rounded off her look with dark lip colour and quasi-sleek hairdo.
Malaika Arora raised the temperature in a fitted maroon choli (blouse) with a plunging neckline that featured ruffled butterfly sleeves. The choli was paired with a matching high-slit long skirt.
Malaika looked ravishingly hot as she turned the showstopper for the debutant Diya Rajvvir. The designer displayed a collection that had a strong emphasis on mauve and Marsala.
The ‘Queen’ actor looked stunning in an intricate traditional cobalt blue lehenga paired with a matching satin blouse with a one-sided knotted dupatta wrapped around, giving it an off-shoulder feel.
She turned the showstopper for the ace designer Disha Patil. Disha showcased her collection titled ‘The interpretation of love.’
Disha stole the show with her blue metallic gown with a front slit and completing her looks with smoky eyes. Her open straight locks added more glamour to her looks.

Genelia D’Souza who grabbed eye-balls while making a comeback on the ramp after five years tuned show stopper for Saroj.
The actor donned a red lehenga with golden embroidery and zari work. Accessorizing her look, the actor was seen wearing a long metallic neckpiece and earrings. With smoky eyes and beachy waves hairdo, Genelia left all the hearts fluttering.
Saroj showcased some of her unique designs from her wedding collection titled ‘Banji Bridal Couture.’
The debutant Ananya Panday made the head turn with as she walked the ramp for designers Anushree Reddy and Arpita Mehta.
She rocked ivory, embellished lehenga, choli, and dupatta. She also wore a hot pink lehenga choli without a dupatta.
The Lakme Fashion Week this year, which had 16 designers showcasing their collection, had been conceived and created with a vision to “Redefine the future of fashion and integrate India into the global fashion world.”
