Show SP as role model of development, Mulayam to youth workers

Seeking to galvanise Samajwadi Party ahead of the 2017 Assembly polls, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today advised youth workers to present the party’s image as a “role model” of development among the masses to regain power in the state.

“I want you all to present the party as a role model of development among the people to form a majority government in 2017,” Yadav said.

He was addressing a meeting of party’s youth wings at SP headquarters here.

Recalling the contribution of the youth in the party’s 2012 grand victory, Yadav said the SP government has “done a tremendous job and fulfilled all the promises it made”.

“Now it is your turn to propagate the work done by the Akhilesh Yadav government. SP is the only party which had made MPs and MLAs from all sections of the society,” he said.

At the meeting, youth leaders decided to celebrate Mulayam’s birthday on November 22, at booth-level across the state.

Leaders of party’s four youth wings — SP Chhatra Sabha, Lohia Vahini, Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade and SP Yuvjan Sabha — were present.
