Vijayawada, April 11: The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) on Sunday has issued show-cause notices to Guntur Gandhi Memorial Cricket Club president Nekkanti Venkata Rao and Chittoor District Cricket Association member B Vijaya Kumar for violating ACA bylaws.
Speaking to reporters after the executive committee meeting here here today, ACA secretary Gokaraju Ganga Raju said the show-cause notices were issued to both of them as they approached court on the proposed amendment to the ACA bylaws that prevents a person, who has completed two terms in ACA, to contest the elections for the office-bearer posts.
Any member with grievance, should approach to the ACA before going to the court of law.
The members went to court without approaching the ACA, he said. They were asked to reply in 10 days.
