Shouldn’t they be called terrorists?

At least six Mexican citizens have lost their lives in the gruesome El Paso shootings which took place this weekend in the United States. At least 20 people were killed and 26 more injured after a gunman opened fire in a Walmart Cielo Vista Mall in the city of El Paso, Texas, on Saturday. The suspect was identified by police as Patrick Crusius, a 21-year-old white man.

Not even 12 hours had passed, in another such incident, at least 10 people are feared dead and 16 people sustained injuries. The shooting took place in Dayton here in the early hours of Sunday.

It was learnt that before arranging the shooting, Crusius published on Twitter a manifesto in which he supported the terrorist attack in a mosque in New Zealand’s Christchurch in March. In the manifesto, he pledged to protect his country from a foreign “invasion,” which he believed damaged US culture and economy.

Interestingly neither Trump nor any American considered it a terrorist activity.

On the contrary, if any Muslim would have done such a crazy act, it would have been declared a terrorist act by one and all.  Now the question arises if the same racist, anti-immigrant act is done, why it is not called terrorist act?
