Srinagar: Militants shot at and injured a shopkeeper in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district this evening, police said.
Mudasir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Malikpora village, was fired upon by unidentified militants, a police official said.
He said Wani, who runs a crockery shop, received injuries in his leg and was taken to a hospital from where he was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital here for specialised treatment.
Police have cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to nab the attackers, the official said.
