Jammu: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in Jammu district, police said on Wednesday.
The victim’s father complained that his daughter had on Tuesday gone to nearby fields for grazing cattle in Parade Gharota belt here and did not return back, a police officer said.
She today returned home and alleged that she was raped by Sat Pal, the officer said.
On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered tonight and an investigation is underway, the officer added.
