A lizard was allegedly found in a lunch tray of a passenger onboard an Air India flight on Thursday. However, Air India authorities have denied any such incident taking place.
The incident is reported to have happened on the Delhi-London flight AI 111. When the flight attendant gave the passenger the food tray, he is said to have started screaming on seeing a lizard in the food.
When the flight attendant offered to change the meal, the passenger says he refused to have anything at all and other passengers declined their food as well.
Later, the passenger filed a complaint with the airline.
Meanwhile, Air India has termed the incident as false and baseless and said no complaint has been received. In its response on Twitter, Air India said, “Air India would like to clarify that the news on Twitter & elsewhere regarding a “lizard in meal tray” on board AI 111 DEL-LHR of 11th June, is false and baseless.”
