Mumbai, September 04: Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray today expressed confidence that the party would come to power in Maharashtra after the Legislative Assembly elections.
Mr Thackeray was speaking on the occasion of Marathi actor Aadesh Bandekar’s joining the party.
He said, ”The picture is getting clear as the elections are approaching nearer. Shiv Sena will definitely form government this time.
” Speaking at Mr Thackeray’s Matoshree residence in suburban Bandra where he formally joined the party, Mr Bandekar, famous as host of ”Home Minister” quiz show on Zee TV, said, ”I had the wish to carry the Shiv Sena flag during my childhood and it continued during my young days too. It will be wrong to say that I am joining the Sena today as I have been working at various Shiv Sena branches since long.
” ”My responsibility will be to perform the task given by the party 100 per cent up to the mark and my only ambition is to live as a good human being and when I will introspect in my latter days, I should be able to say that I created at least 100 good human beings like me,” he said.
