Shiv Sena goons target PCB chief Shahryar Khan, stormed BCCI, meeting cancelled

Shiv Sena opposed to India-Pakistan cricket talk. The workers of Sena marched into the BCCI head office in Mumbai and raised the slogan against PCB chief Shahryar Khan asking him to go back and entered into Shashank Manohar’s chamber speaking him in a high pitch tone with placards.

They were only couple of police constables who could not stop the protestors at the BCCI office.

Shahryar Khan and the head of the PCB’s executive committee Najam Sethi arrived India to convince the BCCI to confirm the India-Pakistan cricket series in December.

Their meeting was scheduled on Monday to meet Manohar and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur along with other government officials.

The Security has been tighten at the BCCI office and the meeting between Manohar and Sheryar has been reschedule.

Earlier Shiv Sena protested against the Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali and cancelled his concert in Mumbai.
They also protested against the book launch of former Pakistan Foreign Affairs Minister Khurshid Kasuri, and its members threw ink on the face of the organiser Sudheendra Kulkarni.

Shiv Sena have always been among the most consistent to the opponents of Indo-Pak cricket.
