BJP’s Maharashtra legislative party is scheduled to meet on Monday to formally elect the next Chief Minister of the state. The meet will also decide the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony of the next CM, as per reports.
BJP’s central observers Rajnath Singh and JP Nadda are likely to attend the meet. The swearing-in is likely to take place on October 30 at Wankhede stadium.
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena has said that it will support any CM that the BJP decides on.
Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ has written that whether it was Nitin Gadkari or Devendra Fadnavis, the party would support the leader who takes Maharashtra forward.
The article also said that Shiv Sena wants the state to have ‘Shiv Rajya’ and inspirational leadership.
