Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik today said he was receiving threats for the last few days.
Sarnaik owns a number of hotels and is also in the construction business.
Sarnaik told reporters that he had reported the matter to Thane police commissioner V V Laxmi Narayana.
