Beed (Maharashtra), April 14: A Shiv Sena leader today demanded a CID probe into the rape of a 17-year-old girl who also tried to commit suicide after the incident.
Shiv Sena MLC Neelam Gorhe, who met the victim at Beed civil hospital where she is struggling for life, demanded DNA test of the prime accused Babulal Rasal, who is a deputy Sarpanch of NCP, alleging that the party had not yet initiated any action against him.
According to police, father of the victim would work at a farm of the prime accused and had a dispute with him. On April 4, Rasal and his aide Narayan Kale allegedly abducted the girl and raped her at different places over the next four days.
