Mumbai: At Dussehra rally in Mumbai on Thursday, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is likely to clarify on its strained ties with the BJP. His speech at the rally will give a green signal to his party activists to capture all the powers and work on its own without BJP.
The Sena last week announced that it is dismantling the alliance with the BJP for a crucial municipal election in a Mumbai suburb.
The senior leader of Sena said “Total saffronisation of the State will be the agenda and he will guide us how to work towards that aim in future.”
Dasara rally is considered as one of the most important events of the Sena, Thackerays used this platform to attack on the successive Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) governments.
By putting the responsibility on the BJP the Sena leaders are going to raise the issues of farmers’ suicides, price rise, drought, PM Modi’s failure to give financial package to Maharashtra’s suffering farmers and his frequent foreign trips.
The Thursday rally, is one of the biggest political events in the city, where the Shiv Sena uses the stage to show its political strength especially after the anti-Pak protest policy adopted by Shiv Sena.
This year, all eyes are on the Dussehra rally as Thackeray is going to reveal his cards in the rally at the Shivaji Park.
