Kaleswari Travels bus driver Seshu Babu, who sustained serious injuries in the Hyderabad-Shirdi bus mishap last month, succumbed to injuries at Osmania General Hospital on Sunday. The accident claimed 33 lives after the bus fell into gorge at Osmanabad in Maharashtra.
Seshu Babu was sleeping in the bus when the bus fell into gorge. He was first admitted to a private hospital in Osmanabad district with grievous injuries and on doctors’ advise he was shifted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences for advanced treatment. However, four days ago Seshu Babu was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the family members of Seshu Babu alleged that medical negligence was responsible for his death.
Seshu Babu hailed from Vijayawada and was working as a driver in Kaleswari Travels for the last four years. (INN)
