Union Home Minister Susheel Kumar Shinde on Saturday said that the Telangana issue was discussed at party supremo’s residence 10 Janpath on Friday. He also clarified that the same issue did not figure at brainstorming session at Surajkund on Friday.
Speaking to the media here, Shinde said that an all-party meeting might be held any time on the Telangana issue. “May be the all-party meeting will be held before or after Parliament winter session”, he said. Pointing out that an all-party meeting held earlier had discussed the Telangana issue, Shinde said the all-party meeting will be called an appropriate time.
He said the Centre has already discussed Telangana issue thoroughly. He said that the leaders concerned have to wait for some more time as they were waiting for years. “Wait for a few months for resolving the Telangana issue”, he added.
The Union Home Minister said that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s letter on Telangana didn’t come to his notice.
