Shilparama Night bazar traders urge T Govt. not to evict them

Shiparamam Night Bazar Traders Welfare Association today urged the government not to take their shops allotted by earlier government and provide facilities to run the shops during the night.

In a statement, association president K Jacob Raju said that the Night Bazar comprising of about 105 shops constructed by the Congress government and allotted most of them to youth who are doing business after taking loans and catering to the needs of Night-work customers mostly from I T industry. However, the present government has disconnected the neon sign light of Nighat Bazaar and removed the benches of entrance.

It was a clear tactic of the authorities to evict the traders and allot shops to new shopkeepers, he alleged in the statement. (NSS)
