Shilpa Chakrapani to join YSRCP on Aug. 3

In a setback to ruling party in Andhra Pradesh, TDP MLC Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy is likely to switch over his loyalty to the main opposition party YSR Congress Party.

Chakrapani Reddy, who hails from Kurnool district, is likely to join the YSRCP on August 3 in the presence of party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, political sources said. Chakrapatni Reddy, who was upset with some incidents  within the party, has decided to join YSRCP. One of the reasons of his unhappiness was missing of his photo in the flexes put up during the visit of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Kurnool district recently and not being invited in the official function of the ruling party.

It may be mentioned here that YSRCP Nandyal Assembly by-election candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy is brother of Chakrapani. (NSS)
