Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority had prepared a plan to shift GHMC office presently housed in Sardar Mahal to old Municipal office at Darul Shifa. It is reported that Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority has now changed the plan to shift GHMC office to Darul Shifa it has decided to construct a new Municipal building at Bandlaguda on a 2000 Sq yards open land.
GHMC has already sanctioned Rs. 12.05 crore for the construction of the new building it is also said that a site has been identified in Rajender Nagar on an open land of 2038 sq meters. It is proposed to construct a 5 storied building in Rajender Nagar which is 8 kilometer away from the city.
