NEW DELHI: The world’s favourite super-fruit, US Cranberries partnered with SheShines, an event to celebrate womanhood and discuss the latest wellness trends for women. Over 200 participants of the event were educated about the benefits of Cranberries, ranging from taste, health, and wellbeing. The event hosted discussions around women’s careers, life choices, and wellness.
Fibre-rich, and free of both fat and cholesterol, Cranberries are fast emerging as one of India’s favourite super-fruits. A USDA study has proven that cranberries are among the top five foods with the highest antioxidants.
In Delhi alone, US Cranberries has observed tremendous growth in sales in 2018, the majority of buyers being women. “We are happy to witness great growth in consumption in Delhi and are grateful to be helping many residents in staying healthy,” said, Michelle, Cranberry Marketing Committee.
Cranberries complement both sweet and savoury dishes with their unique taste. Their versatile flavour brightens kheer, as much as puddings and cakes. The event witnessed many women sharing their favourite rendition of Cranberries and how they have Indianised US cranberries.
SheShines was a confluence of the urban women who have either made a mark for themselves or have touched the lives of their fellow female tribe. Apart from recognizing inspiring success stories of women achievers, there were interactive sessions. The objective of the conference was to inspire, empower and enable women by giving them the confidence to identify their true worth because an empowered woman is powerful beyond measure and beautiful beyond description. The summit was attended by veteran actor Kamlesh Gill and Jahan Geet Singh (India’s Youngest Female Dhol Player) among others.
