New Delhi, April 11: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today greeted the people of Delhi on the occasion of Ram Navami.
The auspicious festival of Ram Navami, the birthday of Lord Rama, will be celebrated tomorrow across the country.
In a statement, she said, ” I express confidence that we all will be able to imbibe ideals of Lord Sri Ram in our lives.” Ram Navami marks the birth of Lord Ram, who according to the legend, took a human form to help the world get rid of Ravana, the symbol of evil.
Ramnavami is one of the most important festivals of the Vaishnava sect of Hindus.
