Sheila asked PM to do something concrete

New Delhi, August 24: Sheila Dikshit son and Delhi MP played an important role in bringing congress and Anna camp, a meeting between Kejeriwal and Salman Khursheed was held in Sandeep house.

Hours before the government on Tuesday offered to talk with Anna Hazare, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit met the Prime Minister to discuss the growing public sentiment in favour of the activist’s hunger strike.

Dikshit conveyed to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that everyone is against corruption, but the issue seems to have got entangled.

Referring to Hazare’s hunger strike, Dikshit said, “I requested the Prime Minister that the government should take a straight view and do something about it. What better than the Prime Minister himself taking the lead.”

Dikshit said Hazare’s hunger strike was a cause of worry. “I met the Prime Minister to convey my concern. The government, too, is against corruption, but the issue has got entangled right now,” she said.
