The prime suspect in Shehla Masood murder case, Zahida Pervez, claimed on Tuesday that she was not behind her killing as she did not know her.
Zahida told this in her statement to an Indore court under section 164 of IPC. However, Zahida accepted that she maintained close relationship with MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh. The BJP MLA is also under scanner in connection with the murder.
Meanwhile, the second suspect Irfan told the police that though he knew Sakib Danger, he was not involved in Shehla’s murder.
The best part of CBI questionong sessions is that all the accused have confessed to their involvement in the crime. But both Zahida and Irfan did not accept this in front of the court.
CBI sources said if the accused don’t confess to their crimes, there are enough evidence against them to prove them guilty.
Pervez had on record confessed before CBI sleuths that it was she who had ordered Masood’s murder because she was suspicious of her relations with her husband.
