Sheela Bhide and the members of the committee met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday.
As per the AP Reorganisation Act, for institutions under Schedule 9, a committee has been set up headed by retired IAS officer Sheela Bhide for apportioning the Assets and Liabilities.
The committee members informed the Chief Minister that a report on the Schedule 9 institutions will be submitted by March. The committee members will meet the Chief Minister again in February.
The members said that the delay has been because the accounts of 10 institutions have not been updated due to bifurcation. The members told the Chief Minister that they have sought CAG’s help in sorting out the accounts at the earliest. (INN)
