Senior Congress leader and former Speaker of the State Assembly K.R. Suresh Reddy expressed his shock and dismay over the untimely demise of YSRCP sitting member and contestant Shoba Nagireddy in a ghastly road accident.
Suresh Reddy, who is contesting from Armoor Assembly constituency of Nizamabad district, was busy campaigning when the news about the tragic demise of the YSRCP leader reached him. Speaking to NSS over the phone, he recalled his association with Shoba Nagireddy as a member of the Assembly. As Speaker of the Assembly, he had watched her taking up various issues pertaining to the people of her constituency. She was an intelligent and astute political leader and always resolved various problems with a smiling face.
The former Assembly Speaker said the State, especially Seemandhra, had lost an able and committed leader. He conveyed his deep felt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. (NSS)
