SHE Team of Hyderabad City Police has caught four persons for teasing women at four different places in the City.
In the first instance, one Mohammad Shadiq Ali, 71, of Valmikinagar under Armoor mandal, Nizamabad district was sitting at Koti bus stop and was trying to touch women inappropriately. The victims were frightened by his acts and shifted to other places. This scene was videographed by the SHE teams present there and the accused was caught. He was produced before the magistrate, who sentenced him to two days’ imprisonment.
In the second incident, one B. Ramulu, 39, of Old Malakpet was caught at Afzalgunz bus stop. He was stalking a woman and trying to touch her since the last months. The victim called 100 after being vexed with his atrocious behaviour. A SHE team present there caught him red-handed. He was produced before the magistrate, who sentenced him to jail for five days.
In the third case, Mohammed Mohsin Ahmed, 25, of Kollur village under Ramachandrapuram mandal of Medak district was caught while teasing a woman at Mehdipatnam bus stop. He was found teasing, stalking, winking and making gestures to talk to her. The entire episode was recorded by the SHE team there. He was arrested and produced in the court, which fined him.
In the fourth case, Mohammad Ishthiyak, 30, working in a Fast Food Centre at Amba threatre in Mehdipatnam, was inappropriately touching women at the bus stop with shoulders and teasing them. The SHE teams caught him with video evidence and produced him before the magistrate, who imposed a fine.
