As many as 2361 Haj pilgrims returned back to Hyderabad after performing Haj 2015.
The air India Haj Chartered flights carried the pilgrims from the sacred city of Madeena, KSA. At the Haj Terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee Prof. S A. Shukoor received the Hajis. He said that in all 19 seats in a total of seven Flights were vacant , eight due to death of pilgrims and remaining 11 were early returnees.
He said that in view of Friday today special arrangements were made for Friday prayers both inside of the Haj Terminal and outside the Haj Terminal for pilgrims and the visitors respectively.
The seventh flight, consisting of all pilgrims from Hyderabad arrived at 3:00 and soon after their arrivals has issued proceedings against two Khadim ul Hujjaj for evading responsibilities during Haj. As two major accidents took place in Makkah this year but the performance of these officials was not upto the mark. They failed to perform their duties properly. He said that the Khadim ul Hujjaj function as a link between pilgrims and the Haj Committee and they are supposed to inform the Haj Committee from time to time about the conditions of the pilgrims.
On Saturday, three more flights will land at the RGI Airport, Shamsabad. (INN)
