New Delhi, April 20: They shaved their heads so that no one could identify them as the killers of a teenager in east Delhi but the same information led police to them.
Three youths were arrested for allegedly murdering Dheeraj (18) in Sanjay Jheel Park in Mayur Vihar Phase-II in broad daylight two days ago when he resisted their attempts to rob him and his female friend.
The arrested have been identified as Imran (20), Mukesh (22) and Akram (19), all of them unemployed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (East) I B Rani said today. Akram was earlier involved in one case.
Initial investigations did not throw up any formidable lead and the focus shifted to local budding criminals.
