Sharjah, June 17: Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al-Qasimi, has honoured 20 government employees from various public institutions in the emirate for distinguishing themselves in their areas of work. Sharjah Deputy Ruler, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim Al-Qasimi, was present at the honouring ceremony which was held at the auditorium of the Sharjah Cultural Palace.
The ceremony, which attracted a large number of invited guests and dignitaries, consisted of various activities, including the showing of documentary film about the development of the Sharjah government-sponsored “Distinguished Government Employees” Award, an annual award which seeks to motivate government employees to give out their best and be outstanding in their areas of duties.
This year’s edition of the award saw the innovation of a special award for team work, dubbed “Distinguished Team Work Award” which seeks to encourage team work at all government institutions in the emirate.
At the end of the ceremony, Sheikh Sultan distributed prizes to all the winners of the award.
