Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for China on Monday to attend the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Zhengzhou.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sharif will have a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in which issues of mutual interest will be discussed on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
Pakistan was invited to become full member of the SCO in Ufa in July this year and is completing relevant procedures to become its full member.
As an Observer State of the SCO, Pakistan has been making substantive contribution to regional peace, security and development, the Radio Pakistan report said.
